Ray first opened the doors to Ray Lahood Motors in 1962 selling a range of used cars to the people of Western Sydney and beyond. Locating the yard on Parramatta road, Granville. Ray made sure that his customers were well looked after by hand picking his stock and providing superior Customer Service. He soon built a reputation for looking after his staff and customers alike. Now happily retired we are making sure that his hard work lives on.
So successful was Ray Lahood Motors that now more than 50 years on Anthony Lahood has stepped in and taken over the family business to make sure it keeps going and stays true to dad’s loyal Customer base. Now renamed as Anthony Lahood Motors, with the help of 2 sisters we have built a name for ourselves backed by old school family values. Our cars are still handpicked by Anthony ensuring only good quality and individually inspected cars are for sale at Anthony Lahood Motors.

Starting out at 13, Anthony has grown up learning about cars and Customer Service. Now, some 28 years later here we are. We have been at the same location for such a long time, we have a grounding that not many Parramatta Road used car yards can boast about. Although the family name, loyalty, service and friendly smiles never change, the place looks a tad different with a full revamp and redesign only 5 years ago.
We now Stock anywhere up to 75 cars at any one time and we specialise in ex-Government vehicle stock. Buying a Sydney used car has never been easier. Our stock has now expanded to include everything from medium sedans, family wagons, SUV’s, people movers and small hatchbacks. We also have your work vehicle covered, with plenty of Commercial Vehicles for sale.
With our Father, Ray Lahood stepping out of the business over 15 years ago now, we are proud to continue the family yard our way, with the help of our Senior Sales staff, that have been with us over 13 years now. So as you can see, it’s not just family that stick around this Sydney Car Yard, it’s the staff and Repeat Customers as well.
